A Conversation with Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan

Using my ability in mediumship to answer his knock on my window.

I am a psychic medium, which means I am able to speak with people who are no longer living in a physical body. In the last year, I have felt Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan “knocking on my window.” I’ve talked with him a little bit but this morning I felt a very strong pull to have a conversation with him about the current events in America.

But first, here is a brief background on Senator Moynihan: In 1961, he served as an Assistant Secretary of Labor under Presidents Kennedy and Johnson and devoted much of his time on the War on Poverty. In 1965 he left Johnson’s administration and became a professor at Harvard. In 1969, he joined Nixon’s administration as Assistant to President for Domestic Policy. He left that Administration in 1970. In 1973, he accepted an appointment as Ambassador to India. In 1975, under President Gerald Ford’s administration, he accepted the appointment of Ambassador to the United Nations. 1n 1976 he won election to the New York State Senate. He led the Moynihan Secrecy Commission which studied the regulation of classified information. He was a strong critic of Reagan’s foreign policy and he supported same sex marriage, voting against the Defense of Marriage Act, which was passed in 1996 under Bill Clinton’s administration. He also voted against the Congressional authorization for the Gulf War. Moynihan was a Democratic New York Senator from 1977 – 2001.

Here is our conversation, with Senator Moynihan’s responses in italics.

Well, here we are a few days from the inauguration of the man that more than half of the people who voted did not vote for. The electoral college is a disaster for our country but the man whose name I don’t even want to write here is even more of a disaster. I feel, with your bipartisan experience in government, that you may have seen the possibility of where we are now forming back then.

I am still closely observing what is happening in America. You are correct, I saw the writing on the wall in the various Republican administrations I was working with in the 1970s, 80s and 90s.

What can we do? People are in despair. It looks like this could actually be the end of democracy and the end of America as we have known it. California has been devastated by wildfires that some feel could have been intentionally set, targeting the film industry. Also, undocumented migrant workers are being rounded up for deportation, targeting the agricultural industry in California. I see California being kneecapped. Current day Republicans seem to be driven by greed and hatred. They have no compassion or empathy. And they are taken over by oligarchs – men in the technology industry. It is very distressing.

Have faith in the American people. Start from there. This is a test for America and democracy and is something that could bring about a stronger America, more united and able to unite with other countries, for that is what needs to happen on Earth. For all countries to unite as Humans on Earth. This is the beginning of that path. I know it looks quite dire from where you are, but this is a chance for the cream to rise to the top. And you are a part of this. If you choose to share this message, all people who read it are also a part of this endeavor. No longer are Americans able to sit back and let their government run things, unchecked, as they just go about their lives. Everyone is involved in keeping Democracy alive. All Americans are responsible for what is being created right now.

The incoming Administration will bumble along and leave destruction in its wake.

Why have the Democrats been so passive through this process? It is obvious to so many people that something was wrong with the election. They did nothing.

Democrats have their own part to play. Democrats are also involved in big money operating through government channels. This situation is a purge, a time when truth will rise to the surface, and much will be exposed. Both parties are responsible. In order to move forward with a more transparent government, a government truly for the people, those very people must get involved in bringing more progressive ideas to fruition. There is a sludge of bureaucratic red tape that needs to be removed. There are aspects of the judicial system that need to be revised. I feel your frustration. Many of us who were in government, including the Founders, are observing from afar. There is much grief and also much cheering on, although we cannot interfere. Some of the founders are down there, participating directly in the situation. And there are events that have not yet happened but are aligned to happen that will shift and change the trajectory. You need to trust this process and, as you have been contemplating and saying, continue to dance on the river of light. The river of love.

The people, when united, are powerful and those in charge are afraid of that. This is why, as I’m sure you are aware, they do their best to keep people divided, angry and fearful. The ones who don’t yet see this are due for an extreme and shocking wake up. You and those who are aware of the energies of change, will be on hand to help when that shock begins to happen. When they realize they’ve been lied to, there will be a great shift. Those who have this understanding need to stop arguing with people on the social media platforms. Do not engage. In fact, remove yourselves from those platforms that have instigated division through false information and outright lies. Those who do not yet see will stay engaged, but those who do see, if they leave these platforms, will not only save their own sense of well being, they will create another place to engage with ideas that will bring forth more harmony, cooperation and collaboration regarding helping one another through this dark passage. The others will eventually realize that they have no one to mock or gloat at or argue with and when they begin to lose benefits and experience financial hardship, they will start to awaken. This may not take very long, but then again, I have a different experience with time than those in the physical.

My suggestion to you is to continue taking care of yourselves through self nurturance, through love, and focusing on helping one another. Work with the energy of joy, love, and that which brings you into creativity, in whatever way that flows through you. You are building upon that river of light, the crystalline grid of love, of the ascension process that you are all involved within. Yes, these are words and concepts that I would not have had an inkling of when I was in the body of Daniel Patrick Moynihan! I am actually accessing these concepts through your consciousness.

Take heart, have faith in the Human Spirit – I am moving beyond calling it American spirit, because this is more than that concept, which involved exploiting others – a stain on the American experiment – but you are in a different time from that long ago. Different neural pathways have developed and so we can take some of the founding principals of American Democracy and expand it into the time you are in and expand it further out into the world, to collaborate with other Democratic and Social Democratic countries to create The United Countries of Earth, which celebrate all the beautiful diversity of cultural expressions of Human Beings. This is what Humans on Earth have an opportunity to evolve into.

For now, you can add this concept to your perception of this experience and observe what is going away and what is coming to be. Add your beautiful intentions for unity to the river of light that you are dancing upon and remember who you are. Remember that you came here for this moment. It is time for you all to Rise and Shine. We have your back. Those of us who are observing, those of us who have been engaged one way or another in forming democracies all over the world, are with you.

You are forming a new way of being on this Earth. You are in the deconstruction phase. Take heart, stay the course. Find your place in it. Release yourselves from despair and find ways to take action.
